Greensboro Police Department spokeswoman Susan Danielsen says that Ross was taken into custody Friday night after the SuperJam concert. She says a court had issued an order for his arrest because he failed to appear in court on a previous misdemeanor marijuana charge.
The rapper, whose real name is William L. Roberts, was taken into custody after his performance. Danielsen says he was released on $1,000 bond.

Rick Ross was taken into custody by police in North Carolina on Friday night for failing to show up

38-year-old rapper had just concluded a performance at the SuperJam
concert in Greensboro when authorities swooped in and arrested him,
according to TMZ.
He was, however, released from custody not long after, upon posting $1,000 bail.

arrest mustn't have been too much of a blip on Ross's radar, however, as
he continued to use his Twitter account to plug his new business - an
electronic vaporising cigarette company - just hours after his arrest.
The star has teamed up with mCig to put his name on an e-cigarette, and he spent much of Saturday promoting the device.
He
then posted an Instagram snap of his name in bold font on a stand at
BET Experience, suggesting that he made it back to Los Angeles in time
for his show.
