Rick Ross Does Another Controversial Lyric

Rick Ross has found another way to get attention with his lyrics. Remember Rocko's song UEONO and Ross' lyrics that made it sound like he would date-rape a woman? Well, the latest controversy is over his lyrics in the song "Blk and Wht" where he raps, "Too close to a ni**a as a mother**king bomb/Trayvon Martin, I'm never missing my target/B*itch ni**a hating, tell me it's what I'm parking/Wingstop owner, lend me pepper aroma/Young, black ni**a, barely got a diploma." Seems kind of disrespectful to the slain teen, right? Well according to All Hip Hop, Ross issued a statement amongst all the backlash he recieved for the song off of his new album Mastermind. He pretty much said on the two year anniversary of Trayvon's death (Feb. 26), it's a tragedy that shouldn't be forgotten. He said that lyric was to remind people that if you are a person of color, "you have to be accurate." He continued by saying Trayvon could have been any of his people and he says he wants people "to stay alert and never miss your target...whatever that target may be...getting out the hood, providing for family." Even still, Ross may need to choose his words a little better.

With just under a week to go till the release of Rick Ross’ sixth solo LP ‘Mastermind’, the MMG general unleashes the official video for his Diddy and French Montana-assisted single ‘Nobody’. The track was produced by Diddy himself and is a remake of Biggie’s classic 'You’re Nobody (Til Somebody Kills You)'.
The visual starts off reminiscing on the drive-by shooting incident Rick Ross' was involved earlier this year in his home state of Florida. We even get to hear the audio of a frantic woman who called 911 to report the shooting that morning as well as a news clip. Director duties on the 'Nobody' visual were handled by Chris Simmons.Mastermind', which is led by Ross' 'The Devil Is A Lie' single, is due out in stores on March 4th. Shortly after 2Face‘s concert when he brought out then-fiancee, Annie during his performance of“African Queen”, the two secretly legalized their union in a Lagos registry on Tuesday, May 1 2012.

Singer Picks Date For Traditional Wedding!

Paul Okoye, one half of the P-Square music duo, has picked 22 March, 2014 for his traditional marriage with his lover, Anita Isama.
A statement by his publicist, Bayo Adetu, made available on Sunday confirmed this development.
According to the Mr Adetu, the wedding ceremony will be held at Aztech Arcum Events Centre, Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.

Newcastle Reportedly Won't Replace Joe Kinnear During This Season

Newcastle United aren't in any rush to appoint a new director of football, it's emerged, following Monday evening's announcement that Joe Kinnear had stepped down from the position.

The former Magpies manager wasn't even a third of the way into his three-year contract in the role, but Sky Sports now says that a successor won't be lined up this season.

Kinnear's duties as director of football were understood to be identifying new talent for manager Alan Pardew, and acting as a form of liaison between the playing staff and some of the club's hierarchy.
The Sky Sports report goes on to mention that former managing director Derek Llambias could be reinstated.
Daniel Storey of Football365 says that 4,000 Newcastle fans are reported to have canceled their season tickets in the wake of last weekend's 3-0 home loss to bitter rivals Sunderland:

One could hardly call the past eight months a success in terms of Kinnear accomplishing the goals that were put before him upon his return to St James' Park.

Directorial positions are something to have come under criticism from some in recent years, with a host of clubs opting to delegate certain responsibilities among various staff members while others prefer to keep the amount of positions more refined.
The tactic is of some debate in Europe's other leagues, too, where it's more common to have such roles at the top level in Germany and Italy, for example.

Newcastle legend Alan Shearer has commented on the debacle, per Sky Sports, saying:

I shouldn't say I'm surprised but I was surprised in the first place when he was announced director, particularly the way the news was broken when Joe himself announced it on the radio when he got some of the players' names wrong.
What has he been there now, about seven months? And two players have come in, albeit both players on loan. Maybe it's Newcastle's way of trying to say that the performance on Saturday wasn't good enough and why they didn't get any new players in, maybe that's one of the reasons.
But they can only get players in if there's one man prepared to sign a chequebook.

The Magpies at least have no more transfer business to be concerned with between now and the end of the campaign.
That being said, it remains unclear as to whether the club will opt to appoint a new director of football at all for the 2014-15 season.

 In a rare show of philanthropy and love for one’s Alma Mata, high life crooner,took time out to visit his old secondary school, College of the Immaculate Conception, Eugen, where he was decked in the school’s uniform of white shirt over blue trousers.
The  stormed the school’s assembly ground and made the students and teachers go wild with joy and ecstasy.
The visit marked the highlight of the college as the students screamed and shouted with delight at the realization that such a celebrity actually passed through the institution.
It was learnt that the visit was facilitated by  with the star artiste announcing later that the foundation would be responsible for the payment of fees for some brilliant but indigent students.
He also took time to take pictures with some youth corps members serving the school.

Jim took to the social network to call the young man a bisexual nincompoop. Chris-Vincent’s crime was reporting Jim Iyke’s alleged public fight a few days ago and this did not sit well with the bad boy of Nigerian movies.
According to Vincent in a note to Pulse.ng, “I’ve now seen Jim Iyke’s tweets, calling me a bisexual nincompoop, because I pointed out his absurdity after fighting in public.
“Jim, in his tweet, said I have jumped from Law to become a copy and paste blogger, forgetting that he was responding to a blog he seems to suggest has no value.
“Who spends his precious time reading a blog with no value and then proceed to respond to its publication? Only Jim Iyke!
“And did he say I have abandoned Law? If Jim Iyke was smart enough, (contrary to what we all think), he could have easily established from this blog that I am still pursuing law, in fact, I am a postgrad International Human Rights student, something Jim Iyke can probably ever come close to in movies or in his world of delusion.
“Anyway, there is no need to go on about who is smart and who is not; it is so obvious that the blind can even see it.
